I Have Arrived

A Threat to be Neutralized

Apparently, I have arrived!” I am now a threat to radical Islam. Some of their followers are trying to neutralize my site. Much to my surprise, I, with my little Christian outreach website, became a target for Muslim hackers. A misguided hacker gained access to my website and inserted a new homepage. Then he placed the sound of Arabic men singing some patriotic song and the image of Islamic flags flying in the background.

The page was directing viewers to a Muslim, or maybe Isis, site. Therefore, I didn’t click on it. I thought there might be a virus, a Trojan file, or some other attack waiting for me.

Now I must confess, I ignored the hack for a few weeks. Dealing with it would be a hassle. So I just turned the site off until I was ready to deal with it. Once I worked on it, the process was as difficult as I imagined. But I got through it all, added additional security, and am pressing on with the mission.

Beware of Error

Here’s a good scripture verse to end with:

2 Peter 3:17-18 (NLT) I am warning you ahead of time, dear friends. Be on guard so that you will not be carried away by the errors of these wicked people and lose your own secure footing. (18) Rather, you must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. All glory to him, both now and forever! Amen.

There is a lot of error being taught in society and in some churches. There are also false religions. Don’t get carried away by the activities of people who promote their lies. The truth of God’s Word (the Bible) is your only secure footing. As you stand on the Word, you will grow in the grace (God’s favor you don’t deserve) and knowledge of Jesus (who makes it possible for you to have God’s grace). Growing in these things means they will increase in your life! Bare minimum amounts should not satisfy you. Seek more!

Have You Arrived?

Make Him your Lord – that means “master”. Make Him your Savior. He and He alone will save you from sin and give you eternal life with God. When you do that (or if you already have), give Jesus glory. That means to praise Him, honor Him and celebrate Him: who He is and what He has done for you. Do it now and forever! Your commitment to Him will change your life and fill you with His love. Then you will find out that you have arrived at the place of abundant peace and joy.
